What a Fertility Workup at the Fertility Institute of NJ & NY Reveals
There are four basic questions our fertility specialists must answer for you:
1. Do I ovulate and have enough eggs?
2. Is my partner's sperm count high, and sperm motility and sperm morphology adequate?
3. Are my fallopian tubes open for sperm and egg to unite?
4. Is my uterus healthy and able to carry a pregnancy?
Once we know the answers to these questions, we will tailor your fertility treatment specifically to resolve every deviation from target values.
Fertility Technologies We'll Discuss
Ovulation induction for anovulation – Helps resolve ovulation issues.
Intra uterine inseminations (IUI) – Helps resolve some situations where sperm counts are low or there is a cervical factor.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) – Helps resolve issues of severely deficient sperm counts, blockage or damage of the fallopian tubes, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), unexplained infertility and more.
Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) with IVF – Helps achieve fertilization when sperm quality is low by allowing careful selection of sperm and its introduction to the egg.
Because many of our patients have been waiting and hoping for a pregnancy for a long time and are yearning to see that positive pregnancy test, we initiate appropriate fertility treatment here at the Institute without delay.
